The World SoapBox Article Directory
Friday, February 19th, 2010I ran across a free script for an article directory and installed on my site, The World SoapBox. I will be watching the results as I have some questions about how this script operates.
The database for the script resides on a remote server. The script calls for the content over the Internet. I do have some news feeds and they do get indexed, so maybe the articles will be indexed as part of the site. The pages of this and all WordPress blogs are called from a local database and the pages are built by the script at the time when there is a request, but they get indexed. I am hoping that these articles get indexed as content on my site.
There are several things that I will be keeping my eye on. I will try to post a report when I have enough information to draw some conclusions.
