Getting Outsourcing – Beginner’s Guide To Outsourcing Your First Project

Wednesday, February 29th, 2012

Even if your new to internet marketing, just starting out you’ll have probably come across the idea of outsourcing some of your internet marketing activity and what I want to tell you today is yes outsourcing is a great way of having an extra pair of hands just when you need them, so in this article we’ll cover the basics of outsourcing.

Naturally if you are interested in outsourcing portions of your work and you’ve never done this before, it can be quite overwhelming. Relying on someone who you don’t know, is probably the other side of the world, you’ll probably never meet face to face may not feel right to you at first. The hesitation on whether to outsource or not comes from your lack of knowledge about the process of outsourcing I guess if you’ve never done anything similar in the past. But don’t worry. What you are going to learn here is on how to select qualified people, set project requirements and establish a deadline for project completion.

Step 1. -Choosing your authors and writers carefully

To make the process of outsourcing easy, what you need to do is to pay careful attention to the prospective writers you intend to use. The importance of this point is that when outsourcing a project to an individual you need to make absolutely sure that they have the skills, ability and command of in this case the English language to ensure that he or she is not only motivated but most importantly capable of doing the job, you need the security of knowing the success of the project is assured.

To commence a search for the right person or people, you need to go onto sites such as Elance but also Google outsourcing, check out the forums as well. You then need to post and describe the requirements or preferences of what you want. Whenever an application is submitted, review the application carefully in order to find the one that is most ideal. You can start by selecting the most promising ones. These ones will further be narrowed down to 3 or 2 from which you can make a final choice.

During the process of screening, you would have come up with a final list of a few choices candidates that meet most of your criteria. You should ensure that you are very comfortable with the quality of their work – see samples preferably in the niche you want them to write in, consider interviewing them over Skype if possible, verify their references and see their client testimonials from past work experiences.

If after you have interviewed and reviewed the final people, do not be discouraged if none of them fail to satisfy your standard required, It just means you still have to continue the search but I tell you from our past experiences there’s always a number in the frame towards the end.

Step 2. -Determine Your Exact Requirement

Determine your exact requirements so that it will be clear for the contractor to do the required job. Assuming that the job requirement would be understood without giving a clear brief in writing could turn out fatal if the eventual outcome of the job does not meet your requirements, believe me we have been there, believed we’d cut the right deal, spoke over Skype, didn’t supply a detailed written brief and the end result – terrible and in our case it did and most certainly could lead to extra expenses and waste. And if it is a job that’s time sensitive it can end up a nightmare.

However on the other hand if having supplied a detailed brief and the contractor fails to follow instructions and the outcome of the job turns out wrong because of this, then at least you are covered and have the ability to refuse payment. Note all the top freelance sites have a method to overcome disputes that’s why you need to do a brief and use reputable outsourcing sites.

Step 3 -Set A Deadline & Stick To It

Another element to outsourcing is establishing a definite deadline for the completion of the project. This expedites the job, as the contractor knows what time frame to work with. It also will prevent misunderstanding and late submission of work. When time lines have been set, you can better evaluate the progress of the work. If after a certain period nothing tangible has been done, this can cause some concern about the contractor’s ability to meet the deadline and you are well within your rights to push for a resolution of either produce to agreed date or cancel the project & go with another writer.

It is better to set a deadline before the contractor is hired. This is because the ability to meet with the deadline would form a core requirement during the hiring process. If the candidate shows any sign of inability to work with the deadline, he can be replaced or at worst case, you have an idea of what his work speed will be, then you can make a valued judgment.

Ok so there you have it, the 3 basic rules for making your outsourcing activity as hassle free as possible. Now its always scary first time out but this is a process that you need to use and master if you’re really serious about making it online so take the plunge and try it its not half as scary or difficult as it looks believe me.

Should You Outsource Your Internet Advertising?

Wednesday, February 29th, 2012

Using the Internet to make money online presents many challenges. One of those is marketing online to make money.

Online business owners and offline business owners face this same question. Not everyone wants to handle the day to day management of promoting on the Internet.

For some business owners it’s a financial question. For others it’s a matter of finding the time to keep on top of Internet marketing.

The bottom line is things change rapidly on the Internet. Chances are your competitors are promoting online in one way or another. The question for you is whether you are keeping up with them or not?

It is surprising the large number of offline business owners who do not even have a website yet. And those who do have a website are not doing a very good job of advertising on the Internet.

One strategy is to outsource your Internet advertising to a professional. There are companies who will take care of everything from building you a company website, optimizing it for the search engines, and driving traffic to it on a regular basis.

There are a couple of primary things to keep in mind when it comes to promoting your website. Both of these revolve around getting traffic from search engines.

1. Organic traffic.

2. Paid traffic.

When you Google search a keyword phrase relating to the theme of your business you will see results displayed in two ways. Across the top and down the right-hand side are paid advertising. Down the left-hand side are organic results that Google is ranking websites for. This is free traffic.

Your goal is to get traffic to your website in both of these ways. The problem is how do you take advantage of these opportunities? This is why so many Internet business owners and offline business owners prefer to outsource their advertising.

If it’s something you want to take on yourself you may want to consider having somebody in your company do it for you. If you specialize in a couple of traffic generation strategies you will be ahead of where you are right now.

One other thing to keep in mind is the rapid changes in social media. There is a tremendous amount of Internet traffic coming out of social marketing such as blogging, Facebook and Twitter, and video marketing on You Tube and other shared video sites.

The bottom line is you must have a presence on the Internet regardless of the type of business you operate. The sooner you take advantage of Internet advertising the faster your business will benefit from it. Whether you choose to outsource this or do it yourself it is something that you must get done!

Finding A Copywriter For Your Website

Wednesday, February 29th, 2012

By Rebecca Bluff

Finding a copywriter for your website may seem easy, given how many copywriters pop up in Google’s search results. Many will offer copy and invoice you without much skill or attention. However, finding a professional copywriter who will deliver effective results is a whole different story! Especially when you are developing your website – the window to your business, which everyone is looking through!

Having a professional copywriter on call for those ad-hoc ‘need it yesterday’ projects will ensure your money and time is well spent. Here are a few tips for finding and choosing website copywriter.

Hire a professional copywriter

It’s important that you hire a professional copywriter. These are the writers who are writing for a living – full time, full focus and full of creativity. Hiring a professional website copywriter will bring the engaging and persuasive prose your website needs.

What website copy do you need?

First and foremost, decide what your website needs. Are you a start up business with a blank website canvass? Is your website copy in need of a revamp? Are you in need of regular blog writing? Got loads of new products and services that needs effective and quick copy? Need to increase website SEO? What about business social media?

Choosing a professional website copywriter to enhance you online presence is crucial to survive the digital age. Bringing in a professional copywriter to help assist you with online communications is important – but do they have the right website copy skills?

Website copy skills to look out for:

Instantly compelling copy

Offer consistent and structured copy

Use website SEO techniques naturally

Peruse their website copy

To discover how good their website skills are – take a look at the copywriter’s website. Does it draw you in? Do you want to keep browsing their website? Are their blogs regular, useful and engaging? Take a look at their clients, testimonials and samples. If you’re impressed with their website – take the next step and contact the copywriter.

Contacting the website copywriter

Once you’ve narrowed your selection of copywriters, contact them directly. Whether it’s by phone, email or website enquiry – the copywriter should be prompt and professional. Ensure you are clear with what you need, when you need it and how you need it. Professional copywriters will want to thoroughly understand your website project, so expect lots of questions first, then results later.

Hiring freelance copywriters

Where your copywriter is located, should not affect your decision. Although it may be nice to hire locally, professional copywriters are located up and down the country. Many professional copywriters are freelance, working from their own home office. Technology allows the copywriter to be on hand whenever you need – mobile phones, tablets, email, video calling and instant messaging – location becomes less important.

Copywriter connection

Follow your instincts when finding and choosing a copywriter. If it doesn’t feel right – move on! If you feel comfortable from your first impressions, like their writing style and creative input – keep a hold of them!

Hiring a copywriter is an important for business. A professional writer can provide advice and copy that will engage your market and increase conversion rates. Placing the writing tasks in to the hands of a professional, will make your life a whole lot easier! Finding the right copywriter can take a bit of time – but it’ll pay dividends!

What Is The Top Way To Make Money From Your Website?

Wednesday, February 29th, 2012

The second most asked question I get everyday is what is the best way to make money from my website? Of course the first most asked question is what is the best way to make money online?

These are 2 very different questions.

1. What is the best way to make money online? People who ask this question are usually not looking to start a home business. They just want to make money.

The primary problem for people like this is they lack Internet marketing skills. Therefore they really are looking for things that anyone can do regardless of their skill level.

Things that fall under this category include doing data entry, paid survey opportunities, reading email, and so on. You can trade some of your free time for dollars and make money online this way.

This is not necessarily the best way to make money online, but it will bring in a few dollars every month. A better way to make money without skills is to start a blog and monetize it with affiliate products.

The great thing about affiliate marketing is it is free and you do not need any products or a website to get started. However, if you are willing to start a blog you can add your affiliate banners to it and make money.

This is not hard to do and can actually be a lot of fun. Even if you do not want to write blog content you can outsource your writing at websites such as iWriter.com.

2. How can I start making money from my website? People who have gone to the trouble of starting a website are generally business-oriented.

Often times these people are getting traffic to their website, but are not really capitalizing on it. I suggest joining Google Adsense.

This is the easiest way to make money from a website. Google sells the ads for you and you earn money whenever people click on them.

One thing good about Google Adsense is it matches up well for virtually any niche. Google pays out close to $1 billion a year in affiliate commissions so you know their ads are on websites representing numerous themes.

There are many excellent training courses and ebooks on how to make money with Google Adsense. Easy Adsense Profits and Adsense 100K Blueprint are two I learned a lot from.

I also suggest reading “20 Ways To Make $100 A Day Online” if you want to look at more money making strategies in depth.

There are many ways to make money online and make money from a website. What I have just written about works and is being done everyday by people just like you and me.

The Right Seo Company

Wednesday, February 29th, 2012

The right SEO company for your business possesses two things – beauty and brains. You can get the most intelligent and skilful SEO consultant there is, but if his work attitude is abysmal, you’re looking at stressful and frustrating months ahead of you. Of course, it can’t be all beauty inside. All charm and no brains make Jack, well, a poor businessman.

SEO or search engine optimization is the most common way to make your business website more visible to search engines like Google. With various processes required and many techniques involved, optimizing a website for search engines do take time for the results to be successful and long lasting.

Over the last few years, SEO companies have been sprouting like mushrooms. Because more and more people in the country are using the internet, business owners find their way to their target market through the World Wide Web. It’s simply a cheaper yet more effective way to promote your business.

TECHNICAL KNOW HOW – Much of the work in SEO requires technical skills. As a business owner investing in an SEO company to market you, you simply cannot afford to hire one who still has to have a manual beside him to construct your website. Part of what you’re paying for is their knowledge plus the time you will save.

KNOWLEDGEABLE ON THE LATEST SEO TECHNIQUES – You don’t want to buy a typewriter when you’re already in the computer age. It’s the same in promoting your business online. You want your consultant to know the latest marketing methods that fit your business needs.

EXPERIENCED – I am sure that there are many new talented SEO consultants. However, hiring an SEO expert to promote your business is like putting your life in the hands of a surgeon – the more experience they’ve got, the safer you feel. There are many things that real life experiences can teach an SEO consultant that books, an SEO Course or the internet can’t.

CAN CUSTOMIZE A SERVICE – Marketing cannot always be by-the-book. It’s just not “one size fits all” kind of thing. Because every business is different, you also get different target markets, which give you varying responses and results. An SEO company should be able to evaluate your business needs and then come up with a plan tailor-fit for you.

PATIENT AND CAN SIMPLIFY TECHNICAL TERMS – We’ve all heard it. Patience is a virtue. It’s a must-have quality that every SEO company should possess. Because not all business owners are familiar with how search engines work, they would surely appreciate a patient explanation of it in layman’s terms.

TRANSPARENT – An SEO company must be transparent with any steps that they’re going to take to improve their client’s online presence. A company that is not clear with what they’re doing should raise concerns. Black hat SEO is something that search engines take seriously and you do not want that in your website.

DEDICATED – SEO is a long process, where much changing and testing are applied. If your consultant is not up for it, and tells you that it’s impossible to increase your ranking in search engine, then you’re better off looking for another one. Dedication is one of the things you want in an SEO company.

Five Reasons Why Starting A Home Business Could Be Right For You

Wednesday, February 29th, 2012

Have you ever considered starting your own home business but couldn’t justify it? Lots of people who were in a similar situation to you have started a successful business from home and have never looked back. In this article we will explore 5 different reasons why starting your own home business might be the right choice for you.

1) Not getting on with your Boss. Many people don’t get on with their boss or are unhappy with the amount of work that they have to do for their pay.. If this describes you, start daydreaming a little bit about the types of home businesses that would cause you to feel excited when you get out of bed each morning.

2) Redundancy. Even if you do enjoy your work, often things can happen that are out of your control. The current economy has forced many lay-offs, and many of those lucky enough to keep their jobs have been demoted or suffered pay cuts. Take back control over your paycheck and your work life with a home business.

3) Rising Costs. Some people have escaped the effects of the bad economy, but have other family-related reasons that make working outside of the home difficult. The cost of quality child care is astronomical, and sometimes it makes more sense financially to have one parent stay home with the kids. Some people also have parents that are aging, and yet cannot afford to pay for help to come in or for a spot in a good retirement home. Having your own home business allows you the flexibility to work early or late hours, break your work into different sessions or work on weekends so that you can be there to care for your family and still bring in an income.

4) Not enough responsibility. Do you ever find your creative desires feeling stifled in the structured environment of someone else’s business? Perhaps it is time to do something that you feel really passionate about and find your own customers to work with you directly.

5) Not enough pay. Why take a salary and let your boss keep a big chunk of your billing rate? Spend a little bit of time improving your business building and networking skills and then make a plan to start your own consulting business from home. If you need to have an office environment in which to meet clients, several companies will rent professional office space to you for a few hundred dollars per month, complete with a receptionist and conference rooms.

As you can probably see, there are many reasons why people choose to strike out on their own and operate a home business. There may be other reasons why you want to start a home business, but regardless of this you may find that starting your own business from home is the perfect solution for you and your family.

Five Ways to Make Money Online – Not As Difficult As You May Think!

Tuesday, February 28th, 2012

By Lee Murray Jr.

If you’re looking for proven ways to make money online, I’ve got five extraordinary methods to share with you which have served me well for the past three years. Please understand that despite some of the stigma surrounding many “work from home” opportunities being promoted today, there really isn’t anything at all “scammy” or unrealistic about making a decent living on the internet.

Making Money Online – 5 Great Ways to Do It:

1. Affiliate Marketing. This is a popular (and potentially very lucrative) way to make money online. It simply involves promoting products for various individuals and organizations. It can be as simple as writing simple articles (like this one) describing these product owners’ offerings, inviting your readers to click on a special link you give them, and then receiving a commission any time a sale is made.

2. CPA Marketing. This is much like affiliate marketing in the sense that you drive prospects to a merchant’s site. But unlike affiliate marketing, using this particular method doesn’t require any monetary transaction to take place. In other words, all your prospect needs to do is take an action. This action could be as simple as entering their email address or zip code in the merchant’s web form and viola! You’re paid. Nice.

3. Google AdSense. This follows suit with the first two ways to make money online, except the requirement for you to make money is even simpler! What? Simpler than having your reader fill out a simple form? Yup. All they’ve got to do is click a link on your website! Have you seen those links on various sites that read “ads by Google” under them? Any time one of those links are clicked on, the owner of that website gets paid. Easy money, baby!

4. Vending. Now we’re getting into a lot more “business owner” type stuff. This is essentially the process through which you create your own product and sell it online. You can either create physical products (a lot of work) or digital products (a lot of profit) and get an army of affiliate marketers to promote it for you. This requires a whole lot of upfront effort, but then you just let your affiliates take over for you and watch the profits roll in day after day.

5. Services. This is the route that a lot of internet business newbies take in order to make fast cash. All you’ve got to do is find something you’re skilled at and offer it to other online entrepreneurs. Can you write? Then write articles for folks. Do you know how to build backlinks? Create videos? Make banners, ebook covers, or other graphics? There are plenty of marketers who need all types of things done for them and are willing to pay you to do these things.

Out of the 5 methods mentioned above, my personal favorite way to make money online is affiliate marketing. It has the highest potential for big payouts, as there are hundreds of products that can yield you $50, $75, or even $100 or more (sometimes much more) for every sale generated through your special links. In addition, you can promote as many or as few products as you want, you don’t need your own website to make a lot of money, and best of all, you’ve got no customer service to worry about.

Three Mistakes Home Based Business Owners Make

Tuesday, February 28th, 2012

By Daniel Lotts

Starting a home based business can be a great decision. It can free you from your everyday job and totally change your life. There is nothing like the feeling of waking up in the morning and seeing you made money while you slept. However, most people fail to make money online, and here are 3 of the common reasons:

Thinking it is too easy
Making money online is hard. There are lots of sales letters online claiming that you can make millions of dollars overnight. These sites are loaded with pictures of expensive cars and people lying in hammocks working on their laptops. They give the impression that earning a living online is easy. In reality, it will take a lot of hard work and dedication.

By the same token, make sure you do not buy into any opportunity that claims you can make money without trying. Usually you can spot these opportunities by reading their sales letters. If they have lots of pictures of expensive homes and cars, but little information on the opportunity itself, it is not legitimate. Just flashing big checks, expensive cars, and large houses doesnt mean your going to make money as promised, usually it means that your just going to make them rich by trying their scheme and spending your hard earned money on a false opportunity. Before joining any opportunity make sure you research and understand the business.

Getting too distracted
There is always going to be a number of ways to make money online. Many people get started with one strategy, and then get distracted by something else before they can gain any traction with the first method. The only way to make money online is to pick one thing and focus on that.

Picking topics they know nothing about
It is possible to make money in niches you know nothing about. This is often known as niche skimming, and it is where people build a lot of sites on different topics and then try to make money with Adsense. They figure the article does not have to be high quality, because the whole goal is to just get people to click on their ads. While this strategy does work, it is not very enjoyable and is becoming less effective as Google cracks down on these junk sites. Stick with a topic you know about and can provide value in, and your home based business will have a much better chance of success.

Should You Write An Ebook?

Tuesday, February 28th, 2012

There plenty of folks turning to the Internet these days in order to make extra cash or even replace their current income and there are many different ways to do this. A number of the most popular methods that many men and women wind up choosing in relation to making money online is using affiliate advertising or Google Adsense. There are other options, of course, for making money on the web and one of them is far more difficult but can be quite profitable. In the following paragraphs we’re going to be checking out what you are going to need to do if you want to make cash online by producing your own digital products.

Information is among the best ways for any person to start making money online with your own product because all they actually have to do is write an E book about something they understand about. You ought to be aware that the knowledge you include in your E book should be a thing that individuals cannot find on their own while not having to buy it, and it should be extremely useful. As long as the product is very useful to these people and they find a solution to their issues more than likely they are not going to be looking to obtain a refund on their purchase.

The hard part is going to come when it’s time to develop a web site in order to sell the product but this is something you will need to promote the product online. There are many individuals would discover how to generate your own website using the information they find on the internet but other individuals are unable to grasp this and for those individuals, hiring someone to do it for them will be their best option. I ought to point out that these people who produce internet sites can end of charging a lot of cash however if you cannot produce a professional website yourself you’re going to find that this can be a necessity.

At this time one of the smartest things to do would to be creating an affiliate program so that you are able to have online marketers selling your product for you. The best way to make sure that affiliates will want to promote your product for you is to offer them a 50% or more commission on every sale they create. The reason affiliate programs are so essential for any type of digital product is because you’ll not need to waste your time advertising and marketing your product and you can actually go on to creating new products. For those of you who want to set up an affiliate program but don’t want to manage it yourself you will find that there are programs online that can help you accomplish this.

There are plenty of different techniques to begin making money on the internet but if you want to generate and market your own products the steps above should be able to help. For those of you don’t want to go through all of the time and work involved in producing your own products you could always go with an additional option for instance becoming an affiliate yourself.
